Events Restricting Lake Use
Throughout the year there are a few big events at Southwater Countrypark, these mean the car park, the park and area around the cafe, large grass area and lake can be very busy. These events affect lake use and hire from Southwater Watersports. Please see the dates and restrictions below.
+++ 1st June 2025 - Brownie Event - 7am-1pm, NO HIRE AVAILABLE
+++ 28th June 2025 - Scout Event - 7am-4pm, NO HIRE AVAILABLE
+++ 29th June 2025 - Guide Event - 7am-2pm, NO HIRE AVAILABLE
+++ 13th July 2025 - Scout Event - 7am-2pm, NO LAKE ACCESS UNTIL AFTER 2.30PM, NO HIRE AVAILABLE
+++ 6th September 2025 - Triathlon Event Set Up - MAIN CAR PARK CLOSED ALL DAY - ACCESS TO LAKE STILL AVAILABLE
